Nikkei Global Management Dialogue

Speakers will offer their insights into matters such as how to maintain a competitive edge in the artificial intelligence era and how to shape markets.
Grab earnings
Singapore-based Grab, the ride-hailing and food delivery service, is set to announce its financial results for the July-September quarter. Revenue is expected to continue growing, although overall profitability remains low due to strong price competition. The company is expanding its financial services offering payment, lending and insurance products to users. In the second quarter, its loan portfolio grew 78% year on year, and investors are closely watching its trajectory.

Singaporean bank earnings
Singapore's largest banks are due to publish earnings results for the third quarter, with DBS Group Holdings and United Overseas Bank scheduled for Thursday, while Oversea-Chinese Banking Corp. is slated for Friday. The U.S. Federal Reserve, which in the past week cut interest rates again, has increased pressure on the Singaporean financial institutions to squeeze out margins from lending activities.
Chinese robotaxi IPOs in Hong Kong
Chinese robotaxi companies Pony.ai and WeRide make their debut on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, seeking larger war chests for technological development and commercial growth amid intensifying competition. They will be joined by Ningbo Joyson Electronic, an intelligent auto parts maker, giving a further boost to the bourse, which has led the world in initial public offering fundraising this year.
