Aiful to be removed from JPX-Nikkei Index 400

    Consumer lender's new holding company Muninova Holdings to join index

    TOKYO -- Nikkei and JPX Market Innovation & Research announced on Wednesday that they will remove consumer lender Aiful from the JPX-Nikkei Index 400 effective April 1, following its move to a holding company structure. Aiful will be delisted as part of the transition.

    Muninova Holdings, a newly established holding company, will be listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange and replace Aiful as a constituent stock of the index.

    On March 30, when Aiful is delisted, and on March 31, the index will be calculated using Aiful's final market capitalization as of March 27.
