Nikkei announced Friday that it will revise the constituents of the Nikkei 225 as part of its regular review, adding JX Advanced Metals, Kokusai Electric and Capcom while removing Archion, Konica Minolta and Kanadevia, effective Oct. 1.
The inclusion of JX Advanced Metals and Kokusai Electric is based on market liquidity, while Capcom's addition is intended to improve sectoral balance.
In line with the Nikkei 225 review, Archion and Konica Minolta will also be removed from the Nikkei 225 Climate Change 1.5°C Target Index (EU PAB) on Oct. 1. Konica Minolta will also be dropped from the Nikkei 225 Global Exposure 50 Index on the same date.
