Nikkei Asia has introduced text-to-speech and multilingual translation features for its paid subscribers.
The text-to-speech feature allows you to listen to Nikkei Asia articles in AI-generated audio. The mobile app also supports background playback, so you can stream news while commuting or multitasking.
The multilingual translation feature automatically translates article headlines and text into seven languages -- Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, Hindi, Malay and Tagalog -- using AI. This makes it easier to understand articles that contain complex English expressions by reading them in your preferred language.
