Kintetsu World Express to be removed from JPX-Nikkei Index 400

Move follows company's designation as 'stock to be delisted'

TOKYO -- Nikkei Inc. and JPX Market Innovation & Research, Inc. will delete Kintetsu World Express from the components of the JPX-Nikkei Index 400 on July 27, as the company has been designated as "a stock to be delisted" by the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

No company's shares will be added to the index to replace Kintetsu World Express on that day. The number of the index constituents will return to 400 when the next periodic review is conducted in August.
